This is a most exceptional book. The trailer Maurie prepared is only a 'taste' of the full delights one will find within. The book is on my "must have" list!
HI Maurie, you seem to be a much loved fellow. Well, sending you more of the same, from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. We just borrowed your book from the library. The illustrations grabbed my attention. They seemed lively, like my kids and our life!
The kids LOVE the book. I guess it helps that they are both interested in dance right now. My daughter is 3.5 and my son, 6.5.
I wanted to share a tidbit with you. They love the Spanish song you use, followed by the English words for "Oh, how I love you." I am probably mangling the pronunciation, but they are still enamoured. So TELL ME PLEASE, is it from a real song that I can find and play for them? Hope so!
Keep writing and keep illustrating/painting. I will look for your other books and definitely use this book as a gift, at my earliest opportunity.
